Improv 101 - An Improv Comedy Course by Seoul City Improv

Seoul City Improv's sold out improvisational comedy course is back for 2019.

This eight-session course will cover improv fundamentals for greater confidence, teamwork and creativity. These skills will make you a better performer on stage, at work, or in any other area of your life you’d like to develop. No experience or prerequisites are necessary!

Due to popular demand, we've added a second course and is now offered on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Cost 150,000 won

Space is VERY limited, so please reach out to us ASAP at seoulimprov@gmail.com or through Facebook and send a 20,000 won deposit to reserve your spot in the class (Nonghyup Bank, 302-1287-3805-41, Kevin Kowalk). The deposit is non-refundable.

Make sure to mention which course you are interested in (101a or 101b). 

We also will be offering a 201 course in January for students who have completed 101, or can demonstrate sufficient prior experience in improv. Please contact us for more details.

About the Instructors:

Kevin Kowalk is the Director of Seoul City Improv and has experience leading performers from all over the world. He’s performed in dozens of improv shows on the SCI stage and acted in the Seoul Players Ten Minute Play Festival.

Joel Horne trained at the Unexpected Productions School in Seattle and has over nine years of experience performing improv in Japan, Germany, Seattle, and Korea. He’s a skilled performer on the SCI stage and has been an improv session leader for over four years.
