Improv 201 - An Improv Comedy Course by Seoul City Improv

Improv 201 is an eight-session course that reviews improv fundamentals, and then delve into the skills needed to begin mastering the art of long-form improv. Improv 201 is a theory-driven course that will allow you to critically analyze improv and sketch comedies from an insider’s perspective.


Necessary prerequisites: Completion of Improv 101 (with SCI or another improv troupe) OR substantial prior experience in improv (at SCI open practice, in college, etc.) Reach out to us for more details.

Cost 150,000 won

About the Instructor:

James Chung is the Asst. Director of Seoul City Improv. He has over 10 years of experience in improv comedy, having trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade in LA. James has workshopped under Emmy award winner Eddie Mujica, and has held an Oscar Award (though he has yet to win one).
